Camera Module Sockets

A camera module socket functions as a receptacle connector mounted on a board, allowing various camera modules to be attached and detached.
Because modules can be replaced without soldering, it improves work efficiency during development-stage evaluation and product assembly.
The socket consists of a terminal array matching the contact pads on the camera module and a locking mechanism that holds the module mechanically in place.
The module is inserted vertically from above and pressed down to ensure reliable electrical connection and positioning. It can be removed simply by lifting it out, reducing stress on the connector.
